Friends of the Buffalo Airport is a small group formed here in Buffalo to protect and promote the Buffalo Airport (8Y2). We hold quarterly meetings at the FBO and try and round up an interesting speakers for the meetings.
Friends of the Buffalo Airport has a core group of 50 or so pilots and depending on time of year a typical meeting would have 20 to 30 attendees.

If someone is looking for a weekend destination we would love to have them fly in to Buffalo. Buffalo has become a destination for the antique crowd with over a dozen shops. If anyone wants to fly in and stay overnight there are two hotels and a Bed and Breakfast here in Buffalo. If you need a ride from the airport to a hotel or a restaurant we can round up a volunteer to haul you around. For information on Buffalo Airport (8Y2) contact:
